New Year

Hi. Hope you all had a good Christmas.
Mine was spent in family. My daughter loved all presents and my Mom came from Setúbal to spend a couple days with us. All together, what else could I ask?
Well, now that Christmas is done, I need to think about our New Year´s celebration.
I´m spending New Year at home too. I´ll be cooking some traditional dishes and sweets.
At midnight of 31, I like to see the fireworks so we all go to our building´s terrace to see the sky full of colors. Then, a new year starts.
As we say in Portugal "New Year, New Life". So, now is the time to start defining goals for 2009.
As a parent, I just wish I can keep providing my daughter with the same educational standards we have now. She´s a good girl and had grat grades at school. All she needs is health, her Mom around and a good guiding. In 2009, my daughter will start the 4th grade which will be an important step for her.
I don´t have many specific goals for Momyjob blog. I just hope I have time to keep sharing my parenting experience here in this space.
